Maroun Elementary music classes provide a positive atmosphere where students learn to express themselves through singing, dancing and playing a variety of percussion instruments.  Our 3rd and 4th graders learn how to play the recorder, as well as perform in chorus concerts during the school year. Student immersion in the creative process develops real world skills in problem solving, communication, and collaboration through artistic and visual literacy.

The vision of the Phoenix CSD Music department is to have our students develop an appreciation of music in various forms: through creation, performance and cultural understanding.
