👟 Walk-A-Thon 👟

Participation in the 1st Annual Maroun PFO Walk-A-Thon is easy! Students will walk

or jog around a “track” for 40 minutes during their Physical Education class the week of

October 7th-11th. A pledge form is on the other side of this letter so your child can seek

donations from family members, friends and neighbors for each lap they complete during the

Walk. They may also collect flat pledges. You can even collect pledges after the day of the

Walk-a-thon. The donations are not due until October 23rd.

Encourage your child to go out and raise as much as possible. Set an example for them by

asking co-workers and family members to donate. We will once again reward the top pledge-

collectors with prizes – and every student who raises at least $50 will receive a 2024-2025

MAM Walk-A-Thon T-shirt!

To help support MAM’s outstanding programs and activities, we hope to reach our goal of

$6,000. Of course, any amount is appreciated and will help. This year another goal is that

ALL students will participate, raising at least a few dollars.

Some of our wonderful activities and programs:

● Family/Community events (Halloween Hallway, Holiday Night, Pick a Partner and Read,

Glow Bingo & End of the Year Carnival)

● Field Trips

● Classroom supplies

● Purchases for in school events (Books for incoming Kindergarteners, Battle of the Books

shirts & more)

● Donations to student services, school nurse clothing supplies

…and so much more.
